“Junior section” of butterfly society went butterfly hunting. Our objectives were to find Zerynthia polyxena and record local sightings of all other butterflies. Lots of pics and info inside!

We found 19 species (not in very perticular order) of butterflies:
Erynnis tages
Nimphalis polychloros
Hemearis lucina
Zerynthia polyxena
Papilio machaon
Pieris rapae
Pieris napi
Anthocharis cardamines
Gonepteryx rhamni
Leptidea sinapis/reali
Callophrys rubi
Lyceana phlaeas
Everes argiades
Inachis io
Clossiana dia
Clossiana euphrosyne
Pararge aegeria
Coenonympha pamphilus
Pyrgus malvae

Here’s some pics:
