One man’s death, other man’s bilingual signs?

Jörg Heider, an Österreicher, Austrian, best known for being an opponent of erecting bilingual signs where Slovene minority is living in Austrian Carinthia. He has tragically passed away in a road accident last night. Of course many people will miss him, especially his cameraden at the Party, but many people will not. I wonder if this will set the stage for further talks with the EU and Slovenia?

The event has already fueled some speculation weather Israeli intelligence agency was involved (maybe because of 1, 2, 3, 4?).

US Govt bailing out big corps

Pres Bush has signed a bill that will give $700 billion to financial institutions to soften the crisis that has been brewing for quite some time, but became really apparent just recently. There you have it, they’ve started bailing out major financial institutions. This bailout will most surely not benefit the American people, but mostly foreign investors (think China) and home “big shots”. What’s funny about this is that they’re taking public money collected from (illegally, BTW) taxes, giving it to the financial institutions, who will use it to give people as loans with interest.
Homework: Find the definition for _fascism_.

*UPDATE*
Found these two videos. Hihly recommended if you’re an American.
