It should be mentioned that "solar flare" side does not contradict that Earth is getting warmer, but is putting forward evidence that Sun activity better suits the model of warming for the past few 100 years. While CO2 emissions may play a role, their part, in their view, is relatively minor. Of course we can't escape the "GREEN-BIO-ECO" hype because it seems to be generating too many new profit opportunities, not to mention adding another "carbon tax" to the already overtaxed population. In any case, this should be hilarious by the time it plays out. So far I haven’t seen any broad discussion on this subject and I can’t credit any side.
